[edit] Possibly unfree Image:Chocolate rain zonday 07.jpg

An image that you uploaded or altered, Image:Chocolate rain zonday 07.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images because its copyright status is disputed. If the image's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the image description page. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. --- RockMFR 20:58, 11 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Tay Zonday

Fair use images are not allowed to represent living people. In the Tay Zonday article, there must either be a free image or none at all. --Deskana (banana) 03:06, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Hsinpei.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Hsinpei.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. [edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Hsinpei.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Hsinpei.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 04:38, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Marathon23.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Marathon23.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:25, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image source problem with Image:122152536.jpg

Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:122152536.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 12:35, 25 December 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Tom Tresser (talk) 12:35, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Moving pages

I notice you moved the page Robert L. Booth without redirecting the links to that page. Wikipedia policy is if you move pages, you should also change the links to that page yourself, not leave it to others to do. Thanks. Richard75 (talk) 16:59, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Chen Shui-bian

I noticed that you consistently revert back to "10th and 11th". That is not the standard that the Republic of China uses to count its Presidents. It counts its Presidents per "term". See President of the Republic of China#List of Presidents for details. Regards, nat.utoronto 21:34, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Order of politicians

I've noticed that you've removed the ordinal numbers on a number of political leaders (Kevin Rudd and Boris Tadić being two in particular). Is there a reason for doing that? BigHaz - Schreit mich an 09:45, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Flags

Hi, I removed some flags you added to articles. Per Wikipedia:Manual of Style (flags) flags don't really belong in infoboxes. Words are clearer. Garion96 (talk) 19:54, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

Mac is back

A tag has been placed on Mac is back, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Corvus cornixtalk 22:01, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Putin

So what's wrong with putting in the successor for Vladimir Putin? We all know who it's going to be, there's no question about it. [edit] Image copyright problem with Image:ILikeIke too.png

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:ILikeIke too.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 06:35, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Re: CKS Memorial Hall

Since the Taiwan Democracy Memorial Hall is currently the official name of the former CKS Memorial Hall, we should try to keep it official and change the names accordingly. About the expected reversion, since it is EXPECTED, but not OFFICIAL yet, we should keep it as the Taiwan Democracy Memorial Hall UNTIL an OFFICIAL name change. JoshuaKuo (talk) 00:17, 25 April 2008 (UTC)JoshuaKuo

Also, Wikiedpia is not a crystal ball. Until reliable sources prove the official name change, expectations do not do anything.--Jerrch 20:27, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
