I removed the statement: "It is based on von Mahlsdorf's autobiography, I Am My Own Woman: The Outlaw Life of Charlotte Von Mahlsdorf, Berlin's Most Distinguished Transvestite" due to the lack of a cite. We've been getting mail at m:OTRS about this, and apparently Wright takes the position that his play was based on his own interviews of von Mahlsdorf and not on the autobiography.
