The video was directed by Dave Meyers. The video received frequent play on BET Midnight Love. The music video starts out as Nicole drives a car to see her brother play basketball. The second scene is Nicole in a room, sitting on counch, talking to her friends while watching Missy Elliott's video "Get Ur Freak On". The third scene take place were Nicole is in a bathtub. And the fourth scene, take place were Nicole is singing the rest of the song outside her home. Even when the video did good, the song did not follow up as well.

I'm Lookin' debut number 66 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks charts[2]. The song stay on the chart for seven weeks. The song also appeared on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay charts at number 64[3]. And it stayed on the charts for six weeks.
