[edit] Storm Path

The storm path showed a northward movement 15.7N 93E to 16N 93E. However, if you check the best best track data, these two positions were both taken at 09/20/00Z. I think either one of the positions is better. Momoko

I think the latter is better. In the EPAC Best Track, it lists Olivia's first position at 16 and 93 at the same time of Greta's last position. Hurricanehink 13:59, 15 April 2006 (UTC)

I don't see this as a particular problem. Since it was a depression its center of circulation was not particularly well defined. The only problem is that two positions are given for the same time, but this is not much of a problem since they largely overlap each other anyway. If anything, this complaint should be sent to the NHC since obviously their best-track datasets should no conflict like this. — jdorje (talk) 03:13, 17 April 2006 (UTC)

This was changed by the NHC after Hurricane Cesar to that format.^Mitch32^contribs 20:22, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
