[edit] Feltonville, Mass. (and welcome)

Welcome!

Hello, Hportfacts5, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on your talk page. Again, welcome!

As to Feltonville, thanks for merging the info into the Hudson article. For future reference, rather than simply leaving a note for an admin, the thing to do once you've merged any information is to remove everything from the Feltonville page and replace it with

#Redirect [[Hudson, Massachusetts]]

Anyone can do that (you don't need to be an admin). That will allow anyone who accesses the Feltonville page to automatically get redirected to the information on the Hudson page. Grutness...wha? 00:44, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Germany Invitation

Hello, Hportfacts5! I'd like to call your attention to the WikiProject Germany and the German-speaking Wikipedians' notice board. I hope their links, sub-projects and discussions are interesting and even helpful to you. If not, I hope that new ones will be.

[edit] Calendar entries

Hello. I see that you have made some contributions to the article March 10. I have removed several of the entries because they either did not link to supporting articles or the information was incorrect. Please note that entries in the date articles must be supported by existing Wikipedia articles. I understand that you took the entries from a book, but please be sure to check that the links that you enter, link to supporting articles. Please feel free to ask any questions. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 19:31, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

I see that you're finding some interesting events in your book. But not all events should be added to Wikicalendar articles. Please have a look at WP:DAYS and WP:NGS for information on what is considered appropriate for inclusion. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 19:46, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Enrico Toselli, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This is especially important when dealing with biographies of living people, but applies to all Wikipedia articles. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add your reference to the article. Thank you. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 20:30, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
