Hpa-An (Burmese: ဘားအံမ္ရုိ့; MLCTS: bha: am mrui.), also called Pa-An, is a town in Myanmar. It is the administrative capital of Kayin State. The population was 41,501 in the most recent census (1983).[citation needed]
The town is home to the Hpaan Education College and Hpaan University.
Kayin State Cultural Museum is located in Hpa-An.
