OK - I think "Lento" is one the most staggeringly beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard. How's that for starters?
I must admit I'd never heard of him, but played in an orchestra for a composers' workshop he was running today! Will check out Lento 82.69.28.55 22:57, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
I was studying music at Adelaide University in 1992 and so had the privilege of meeting Howard Skempton and participating in a couple of workshops with him. My composition teacher at the time Stephen Whittington once played the piece 'Lento' during a class and made some remarks about it's originality. I do recall the piece being very beautiful but I have not heard it since.Godfinger 03:38, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] seaquence/sequence
I presume "seaquence" is a staggering spelling mistake and not some new word I haven't heard of before. Perhaps someone who knows this for sure can correct it?
