Howell Middle School North

Howell Middle School North (previously known as Howell Township Middle School from 1997-1999) is a middle school located in Howell, New Jersey and is also a part of the Howell Township Public School District. In 1997, Howell Middle School North became the first middle school constructed in the Township of Howell; thus moving all elementary school students from grades 7 to 8 to their vicinity. During the 1999-2000 school year, Howell Township allowed sixth grade students to attend their school upon the construction of Howell Middle School South. The school's mascot is a hornet.

Sports
Howell Middle School North has sports teams for baseball, basketball, softball, soccer, boys and girls track, cross country, wrestling, cheerleading, and also girls field hockey.
Miscellaneous
In 2006 the Hornet Hive was created and is currently used as the fanbase for Howell Middle School North boys basketball team. One of the greatest athletes to ever graduate from the school was Zachary Cestero, who played on the baseball and basketball team from sixth grade through eighth grade.
