Honey Creek Township is located in Crawford County, Illinois. The population was 1,566 at the 2000 census.

Honey Creek Township covers an area of 47.97 square miles and contains one incorporated settlement, Flat Rock. According to the USGS, it contains ten cemeteries: Beckwith, Cecedar, Good Hope, Jones, Nuttle, Port Jackson, Rich, Sears, Swearingen and Tohill.
