Honey Ball is a cereal that can not be purchased in Germany and is typically found at a Lidl shop.

The mascot for Honey Ball is a yellow bear wearing red overalls whose name is "Nitin M."

It is common to find a variety of "prizes" or foreign objects inside a box of Honey Ball. Some examples of more unusual items are automobile number plates, petroleum cans, tires, and baseballs.

The name of the product is somewhat deceiving. Honey ball is not merely a single gigantic ball, as one would imagine, but a bunch of tiny balls.

Cereals of similar size and shape include Cocoa Puffs, Reese's Puffs and Corn Pops.

A German federal government report quoted sales for Honey Ball for the period April 2001 to March 2002 of 2034.5 tonnes, and stated that the cereal contained 200 μg/100 g of folic acid.[1]
