In developing this article, I intend to cover types of historic preservation designations that may provide varying degrees of protection for historic sites in New York, in part to complement the list-article List of National Historic Landmarks in New York. However, the scope of the article is not well-defined. I have found no other articles like this in wikipedia so far. Comments/suggestions welcome. doncram (talk) 18:12, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
