Hidalgo (also, Villa Hidalgo^[1]) is a community and municipality located in the Mexican state of Coahuila. According to the INEGI Censsus of 2005, Hidalgo has a population of 1,516 inhabitants^[2]. Its elevation is 150 meters above sea level.
