Heume-l'Église

Heume-l'Église is a village and commune in the Puy-de-Dôme département of central France. The village mainly consists of a collection of farmhouses, it is a smal rural community with approx. 160 occupants. The word "Eglise" translates into "church", there is a church in Heume l'Eglise which served as church for the entire rural community in the surrounding area. Recently, in 2005 or so, the area has become more connected to the outside world because of a new highway having been comleted. The scenery is beautiful, hills everywhere, snow in winter and sunny in the summer.
