[edit] Need to Clarify Credentials

In which academic department was Branover awarded the Ph.D., when was it awarded, what was the thesis title, and who was on the committee? Same questions apply for the Sc.D. All of this seems unclear in his autobiography. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.79.4.11 (talk) 04:18, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

The wiki article says Herman Branover was born in Riga, Latvia, earned his Ph.D. from the Moscow State Institute of Aviation in magnetohydrodynamics (MHD), and completed a D.Sc. degree in physics and mathematics at the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute.

But the autobiography says he was not admitted to the doctoral or phd program and so he then studied outside the program and formed his own committee. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.79.61.211 (talk) 11:42, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
