Herm Schaefer

Herman H. Schaefer (December 20, 1919–March 21, 1980) was an American professional basketball player and coach.
A 6'0" guard/forward from Indiana University, Schaefer played two seasons (1948-1950) in the Basketball Association of America/National Basketball Association as a member of the Minneapolis Lakers. He averaged 7.6 points per game and won two championships.
Schaefer later served as coach of the Indianapolis Olympians.
