Billy Hassett

William Joseph Hassett (October 21, 1921–November 15, 1992) was an American professional basketball player.
A 5'11" guard from the University of Notre Dame, Hassett played two seasons (1949-51) in the National Basketball Association as a member of the Tri-Cities Blackhawks, Minneapolis Lakers, and Baltimore Bullets. He averaged 4.5 points per game and won a championship with the Lakers in 1950.
