Herbert Vaughn Orvis (born October 17, 1946) is a former American football defensive tackle who played for the Detroit Lions and the Baltimore Colts in a ten year career that lasted from 1972 to 1981 in the National Football League.
Orvis played college football at the University of Colorado and was drafted in the first round of the 1972 NFL Draft by the Lions.
