doi:10.1111/j.1572-0241.2007.01228.x suggests that left atrial size predicts presence of HPS. In the absence of fulltext I cannot conceive of a pathophysiological explanation why the LEFT heart would get involved here. JFW | T@lk 12:03, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
