Henry Dartnall is the leading and founding member of English Mercury Prize [1] nominated Geek rock band Young Knives, with whom he performs lead guitar and vocals.

He attended Ashby School, in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire, before going to the University of Wales, Lampeter, though it was in Oxford he achieved fame with former schoolmates Oliver Askew and brother Thomas "House of Lords" Dartnall.

He is noted for his lively on-stage performance and quite strange, often cryptic lyrics, before 2007, he was known for His and the Bands charity shop cloths, and tweed clothing in particular jackets.


As of 2008, He is married and 32 years of age.
