89.241.56.152 22:13, 25 March 2007 (UTC) Joseph Davies O.B.E was apparently the the first ever mayor of Hemsworth. He also helped in the construction of a few streets in the neighbouring towns of Fitzwilliam and was also involved in the the foundation of Hemsworth water park.
