Hemerocallis minor, is also known as Dwarf day lily, Grassleaf Lily. It is a member of the relatively small genus Hemerocallis. The plant grows up to 0.5 m high. Its wide yellow flowers have as strong powerful scent, reminiscent of honeysuckle. It is a hermaphroditic plant, and is pollinated by insects such as honey bees.

Propagation is mainly done by seed, which the plant produces in pods. Division can also be done to reproduce the plants.
