[edit] Intro has serious POV issues

the intro has omitted all of the factors regarding sanitation, communicable diseases, and malnutrition. the intro reads like a rosy summary put out by the head of state. this needs to be corrected by at least summarizing some of these facts from within the body of the article Phasechange 04:00, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
