Headstrong is the debut album by Ashley Tisdale. The album was released on February 6, 2007 in the United States via Warner Bros Records. Tisdale promoted the album during her Headstrong Tour Across America and then promoted on the High School Musical Tour. The album has been certified Gold in the U.S with 500,000 copies sold.[1] , and The album has been certified Gold in the Brazil with 75,000 copies sold. In addition, Headstrong has sold 1,002,657 million copies worldwide.

On September 17, 2007 He Said She Said was released as a single. The album was #6 on "Album of The Year" by Billboard Readers' Choice.[citation needed] The album generated mixed reviews, receiving a 3/5 on the website All Music Guide.[2] Oye! Awards (Premios Oye! in Spanish) nominated Tisdale in the category International Breakthrough Artist of 2007.[citation needed]

On October 2007, Tisdale started her first tour called Headstrong Tour Across America for different malls of the United States. The music video for He Said She Said promoted Eckō Red, for a shoe commercial. The album will be released again on June 6, 2008, only in Germany in a Deluxe Edition. The CD contains all the 14 tracks from original album and the DVD contains There's Something About Ashley, with the three videos. A DVD was released November 13, 2007. The 3 music videos are blend into a mini movie by a storyline that progresses through each song.
