[edit] User page
I accidently deleted (and then restored) your user page. There were a couple of users who seem to think Wikipedia is a social site and I made the mistake of thinking you were part of it. Sorry about that. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 17:38, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] notoriety = "ill fame"
I guess I misunderstood what you meant by your notoriety comment. I suppose some people would consider the word "notoriety" as some kind of wide public knowledge of something like a scandal, but there's a lot of WP editors who view the word as sort of a "magic" term that deems a subject worthy of inclusion here. I respect your interpretation and will revert back to your edit. --Oakshade 17:27, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
No problem. I guess people think notoriety is a positive word because it sounds like notable. I wouldn't want anyone to think Paula Frazer is "infamous" :-) Hazel75 18:11, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
