To-do list for Hartlepool United F.C.:
  • In the main article, rewrite some of the paragraphs to make them more readable as some of them are long winded.
  • Make more player profiles for those players that are staying with the club.
  • Include more detail on the clubs history between 1970-1999.

[edit] Current squad

The links for Hugh Robertson and Thomas Butler need disambiguating. --Nzd 18:15, 30 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] External Links

I noticed that a forum was added to the external links section, so I've arranged the external links into 2 sections. 1 for normal sites and an other for forums. Any disagree with this decision? Englishrose 19:06, 24 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] A note on British English

British English should be used for articles on Britain related topics. Likewise, American English should be used on articles pertaining to American topics. For a clearer example, please visit this sub-section on the differences between their usage. However, is" works better than "are" with the term club as it is a singular and not a plural noun. (Compare with the word team which is a plural noun) --Siva1979Talk to me 03:15, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Badge

What's the significance of the second badge which has been rather randomly placed below the infobox with a caption........? ChrisTheDude 14:16, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Club History

As per the request, I have expanded the Club History section for the period 1970-99. Not sure if there's too much there now, if there is feel free to edit it down. I'm a bit shaky on the use of references, so if anyone would care to sort them (Relevent links etc in the References section) please do!

The history section is now rather long. I would suggest that it is moved into an article in its own right with a precis and link from the main article. It could also do with sub-headings to separate major events/eras in the club's history. Daemonic Kangaroo 05:43, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

History of Hartlepool United F.C.], this will be the main history page...we'll work together on trimming the one on this page and improving the main article. Englishrose 10:05, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Hartlepool2.gif

Image:Hartlepool2.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:46, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
