[edit] betting scandal

no mention of his alleged betting scandal where his players placed bets on him to return to the portsmouth job? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.194.7.253 (talk) 05:19, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

Does anyone understand why that was a 'scandal' in the first place? If a bookmaker chooses to take bets on something which is not a regulated sporting event, why should those with knowledge not take advantage of it? Zooterkin 08:32, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] 1000 games

According to the club website [1] he has already reached the 1000 games milestone, whereas the Soccerbase figures[2] only total 999. What happened to the "missing" games? Daemonic Kangaroo 06:26, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] England job

Quite simpy - no. WP is not the place for speculation. --Daemonic Kangaroo (talk) 17:20, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
