Harti (also Haarti; Somali Xaarti meaning "strong man") is a name used to denote, on the one hand, a conglomeration of various Darod sub-clans of the Somali people, and on the other, sub-divisions of the Abgaal (Hawiye) clans.
Abgaals tend to be concentrated in the Shabeellaha Dhexe region and Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia.
