What I do

Although I can be a creative person, and I enjoy writing, I do a lot of grunt or fairy work, as I rarely have the perseverence to complete any major projects. That said, I think I really have done a little bit of everything here on Wikipedia. I notched up a 75-long unbroken edit streak on The Colour of Magic (TV film), which made quite an improvement. I helped bring List of poker hands to Featured List status, Wicked (musical) to GA status, and Emma Watson to FA. I designed or help design the Requests listing system currently in use by the League of Copyeditors, the complete overhaul of the CSD template system around {{Db-meta}}, the current version of {{pp-meta}}, and {{WPBannerMeta}}, the WikiProject banner meta-template. I am an active participant at The WikiProject Council, WikiProject Musical Theatre and The League of Copyeditors. My Bot account, MelonBot, performs several useful tasks for these projects and elsewhere. I have recently applied for a toolserver account with which I will be able to develop more useful bot functions. I regularly patrol Category:Protected edit requests, am active on Templates for deletion, and consider myself an expert template coder. Most importantly for the encyclopedia, however, I can never resist the urge to edit any page I happen to visit which looks like it needs it :D.

New articles

I rarely create new articles - we have enough of those already.

Templates

I've created or worked on a couple of templates which are quite widely used. I should be able to answer any questions over the use or structure of these.

Articles

Although I tend to work 'backstage', I have made significant contributions to a handful of articles when I develop a special connection to them.
