Talk:Hans Bellmer
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I think it might be best to remove the "French Painters" categorization from this article, given that Bellmer was born, raised, and created much of the work he is best known for while living in Germany. Additionally, his post-World War Two output done while living in France, was largely focused on drawing and photography rather than painting.
[edit] Love Object (2003)
The Movie 'Love Object' contains very clear references to Bellmer's work including mannequin/love dolls and the use of his name as a main character's last name.
