Halil Akkaş

Halil Akkaş (born July 1, 1983 in Kütahya) is a Turkish middle distance runner.
He won the 3000 m steeplechase at the 2005 World Student Games and also finished fifth that year at the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki.
He finished fourth in the 5000 m final at the 2006 European Athletics Championships in Gothenburg. At the 2007 European Athletics Indoor Championships he competed in 3000 m and finished fourth.
He is athlete of Fenerbahçe SK athletic branch team Fenerbahçe Athletics.
