[edit] Speedy Yokozuna announcment

Isn't is premature to put the Yokozuna box in? Although he has met the qualifying criteria, the committee could still decide that he's too young, morally inadequate or whatever. -- Jungletiger 23:57, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, in principal we should wait. Though it is only a matter of hours (from now) before the Nihon Sumo Kyokai makes an official announcment. So no harm done really. Kaiketsu 19:30, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Tourney Box

I put in a tourney box and then got carried away. The color scheme was working pretty well until half way thru - I had forgotten wrestlers can get more than one prize in a tournament. Rather than erase alll my work I made another color for technique and oustanding performance together. I think if we tweak this template we can make it work as a tournament template. the Munkhbat in Hakuho's "real" name is a patronymic, i.e. the given name of his father. Hakuho's fathers patronymic (i.e. the given name of Hakuho's grandfather) is Jigjid. If he was born in Iceland, Hakuho's full name would be Davaajargal Munkhbatsson, and his father's full name would be Munkhbat Jigjidsson. Anyway, Mongolians usually refer to each other only by their given name, i.e. Munkhbat should be used when referring to Hakuho's father, Jigjid when referring to the grandfather, and Davaajargal when referring to Hakuho.
