i nee help i dont know what the heck this is or how to work i made a little edit thing on one page and i cant do it again help

There are no character classes or pets in Hack. Only in Nethack.

Untrue - in the longest-standing version of hack (1.0.3) there weere six character classes - Fighter, Tourist, Speleologist, Cave-man, Knight, Wizard. There were also pet dogs (no cats). Robin Johnson (talk) 08:34, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

You are mistaken - that is nethack, not hack. Hack did not have pets.

The version of Hack I played had pets. Well, a pet dog anyhow. - And yeah, I think it was 1.0.3. Nethack came much later and I thought they ruined the game. The Keystone Kops just made it too easy. Gatoclass 19:50, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

Yes, Hack 1.0.3 had dogs as pets. I don't recall whether that was a prior addition or not (as 1.0.3 was more or less the end of original, official development). Look at hack.dog.c in the source distribution to Hack for very clear evidence that Hack did in fact have pets. D.brodale 20:12, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
