Hackbridge

Hackbridge in the London Borough of Sutton is a suburb and railway station in south-west London with services to London Victoria and Blackfriars (Thameslink). Hackbridge was home to the first Country dogs home opened by the Duke and Duchess of Portland. This was where the Balfour Kilpatrick Offices once stood.

The BedZED eco-friendly housing development is located in Hackbridge.

Tracey Ullman grew up in Hackbridge. She was once quoted in interview saying " didn't think I'd go anywhere. I'm from Hackbridge! I would have gotten a job, probably would have become a travel agent, married a bloke named Brian, had it off once a month after a bath, gone to Majorca once a year. But I met my husband, Allan McKeown, and that's when my life began, really."
