Hachirōgata (八郎潟町; -machi) is a town located in Minamiakita District, Akita, Japan.
As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 7,251 and a density of 425.78 persons per km². The total area is 17.03 km².
It was named after Lake Hachirogata which lies in the west of the town.
