Habermehl Peak

Habermehl Peak (71°49′S, 6°55′E) is a peak (2,945 m) 3 miles (4.8 km) south of Gessner Peak in the northeast part of the Muhlig-Hofmann Mountains of Queen Maud Land. Discovered by the German Antarctic Expedition under Ritscher, 1938-39, and named for the director of the German Weather Service. Remapped from air photos taken by the Norwegian Antarctic Expedition, 1958-59.
