[edit] Characters
The "Characters" section is just awful. It needs to be totally reworked, this time with some attention paid to formatting.
July 26, 2005- Character section reworked. Still needs to be checked for spelling and subject accuracy.
[edit] Two separate articles
one for the game and one for the anime --Dangerous-Boy 07:46, 17 January 2006 (UTC)--
- I agree. I came here looking for some info of the anime series and i realiza that there's not much info about it and i got to say the same thing of the data about the game, it would be cool if someone could make two separate articles and maybe to expand them a little bit.
- Disagree, for now. I'm not very familiar with Gungrave (I'm only starting to watch the anime now.), but if the games and anime are very intertwined, I don't see the reason for two articles. Until there is a larger body of information up that is unique to the anime, the anime should be sub-section of the game article. As it stands now, the anime section is rather small, in fact if you take out the episode names, it's just a fragment. If it was split off it would be a sad sub. However, if Mitsurya's plan (below) to actually created a fleshed out article about the anime, fine. I'll support multiple articles if each article has real substance. Otherwise, keep it all in one.Mr. Cat 21:22, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
i am working on creating two seperate articles for this topic and creating one for gungrave overdose -- mitsurya
I disagree that the anime and games should be seperated, mainly because the second half of the anime is the original ps2 game(with an alternate ending). Originally it was a two ps2 games that got turned into an anime, which is what this article should describe. There should be a section added for characters in the anime who do not appear in the game (i.e. maria, big boss in human form), but other than that, I think they should be binded as one article, since it's one idea with one set of characters.
The anime deserves it's own article.
I agree that it should have a separate article. Hewinsj
[edit] Seperate articles?
Maybe the seperation of articles is not necessarily needed. Perhaps just a division in the section is enough.
There's plenty of material to make a gungrave article just about the anime.
There's too much to the anime to give it only half an article.
You're wish is my command! - Gungrave (anime) (in early stages of development).

[edit] Episode guide
The episode guide is a mess. It should be set in proper format, and given actual episode summeries.
[edit] Gungrave Anime Section
By request, I've taken the liberty of creating a seperate article for the anime.
All the info of it from this article is in the new article, as well as now much more. I also removed the info from this article and replaced it with a Main Article: link.
To fing my reasons for doinf this, check out the disscusion for the new article - Gungrave (anime)
Hope this hasn't caused too much inconveniance to anyone n_n;

Not at all CF. It's a good start, and the info for the page looks cleaner allready. Maybe we can move some of the anime specific characters over to the Anime section once it's had some progress. User:Hewinsj 17:43, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Updates
I've edited the opening paragraphs which should be good, and changed the information box to standard videogame, rather than anime that included VG info. I've created a Gungrave OD article, and I'm going to try and add new sections here like weapons, characters, ect. to draw a distinction. If anybody has anything constructive to add to Gungrave OD, go ahead. Also, does anyone really want that Cinemanga section? Does it serve a purpose? Hewinsj 08:12, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
It does serve a purpose, by informing a certain part of the gungrave saga. Isn't that what wikipedia is about? I say keep it.
- But it's not part of the saga, just a reprint of still shots from the anime. It has little to nothing to do with the game itself. If anything the fact that it exists should be made a subsection of Gungrave (Anime) (under Other Media or something like that). Also, the text shouldn't read as though it was taken from a Diamond Previews catalogue. Hewinsj 15:53, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
Overhauling the article and gearing it toward the original game. Going to try and fit the format set by some other games in the computer and video game project. If anyone has ideas on things that can be added post it here. Also, if anyone knows which characters are exsclusive to the anime, cut them from this page and move them over there. This one is only going to reflect enemies and allies from the original Gungrave. Hewinsj 18:09, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:GG-Cerberus.jpg
Image:GG-Cerberus.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
