Gregory Prince

Gregory A. Prince is an American historian and author specializing in the history of the Latter Day Saint movement. With William Robert Wright, he co-authored the recent biography David O. McKay and the Rise of Modern Mormonism. Prince is also the author of Power from On High: The Development of Mormon Priesthood.
Prince received two 2006 Mormon History Association Book Awards for his work. The recent biography David O. McKay and the Rise of Modern Mormonism, co-authored with Wright, received the Association's Best Biography award. His Journal of Mormon History article (Spring 2005), written with Gary Topping, A Turbulent Coexistence: Duance Hunt, David O. McKay, and a Quarter-Century of Catholic-Mormon Relations, received the J. Talmage Jones Award of Excellence.
Prince is president and CEO of Virion Systems, Inc. and he is a board member of Dialogue: A Journal of Mormon Thought and The Journal of Mormon History. He lives with his family in Potomac, Maryland.
