The Green Bay Blizzard is a professional arena football team, that plays in the af2, the minor league of the Arena Football League. They play their home games at US Cellular Field at the Resch Center in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin. They are currently in the Midwest Division of the American Conference. The team's logo represents Bruiser, the team mascot. The team's dance team is known as the Green Bay Freeze and the team's drumline is known as the Frostline. The team is owned by former Green Bay Packers linebacker Brian Noble and former NFL quarterback Dave Krieg.

The Blizzard opened the season on Sunday March 30 with a 48-64 loss to the Spokane Shock in a rematch of the 2006 Arena Cup. This also snapped the Blizzard's home winning streak of 11 games, dating back to the 2006 season. The Blizzard bounced back the following week with a 37-35 victory at Tennessee Valley. The Blizzard then returned to US Cellular Field at the Resch Center and dismantled the Manchester Wolves 72-31. The Blizzard lost a close game in Albany, GA to the South Georgia Wildcats 48-55 dropping the team to 2-2 on the year. The Blizzard returned to US Cellular Field at the Resch Center in Week 5 and defeated division rival Quad City Steamwheelers 52-35.
