Gradignan is a commune in the département of Gironde and the Aquitaine region of France. It is a suburb of the city of Bordeaux, and is located to its southwest side. Thus, it is a member of the metropolitan Urban Community of Bordeaux. In the 1999 census, Gradignan had a population of 22,193.
