[edit] Tax System
Maybe there should be a section on the tax & budget system on this page. For example: Do the citizens of Puerto Rico file U.S. taxes? & What is the Government's budget? Jeff Carr 20:51, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
- AFAIK, only federal employees file U.S. taxes. The government's budget is nearly $1 billion USD, collected from income tax, import tariffs, fines, licences, permits, etc. The public debt is near $36.7 billion USD I beleive. —Joseph | Talk 21:29, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
