Gordon Wylde (born 12 November 1964 in Glasgow), is a former manager of East Stirlingshire F.C., who play association football in the Scottish Third Division.

Wylde began his senior career at the Shire, before joining Kilmarnock in 1988. He then had a brief spell at Queen of the South, before joining Clyde.[1] Wylde was appointed assistant coach to the reserve team during his time at Broadwood Stadium, and was promoted to assistant manager of the first team when Gardner Spiers was appointed manager. He left the club after Spiers was sacked.

He was previously assistant manager at East Stirling to predecessor Dennis Newell from March 2004 to December 2005 and when Newall was sacked became his replacement in early 2006.

The Shire has seen considerable improvement under Wylde's tenure even though he has so far failed to prevent them finishing bottom of the Scottish Third Division and the Scottish Football League for 5 seasons running. However season 2007/8 has seen the club go beyond expectations and may finish a respectable place in the league. He won the Manager of the Month award in August 2007.[2]

Wylde led the club to the Scottish Cup third round for the first time, where they faced SPL title challengers Rangers at Ibrox. The Shire lost 6-0.

He resigned from managing East Stirling after a run of poor results on 28 February 2008[3]. His reason for resigning was health issues due to the stress of attempting to keep the club from finishing bottom of the Third Division for the 5th successive time. This would have potentially resulted in the club losing their league status, and he cited the unrealistic expectations of the fans having a bearing on his decision. [4]

His son Gregg plays for the Rangers youth team.
