Gordon Thomson

Gordon Thomson (born March 3, 1945) is a Canadian actor who found great success on American television in the ABC prime-time soap opera Dynasty from 1982 to 1989, playing the villainous Adam Carrington, son of Blake Carrington (John Forsythe) and Alexis Colby (Joan Collins).
During the 1985-1986 season, Thomson also appeared in three episodes of the Dynasty spin-off, The Colbys. In 1991, Thomson was unable to reprise his role as "Adam" in the TV mini-series Dynasty: The Reunion and was replaced by actor Robin Sachs.
Prior to Dynasty, Thomson appeared in the now-defunct ABC daytime soap opera Ryan's Hope. After Dynasty was cancelled, Thomson returned to daytime soaps, with prominent roles on The Young and the Restless and the now-defunct series Santa Barbara and Sunset Beach.
In 2006, Thomson appeared in the Academy Award nominated film, Little Miss Sunshine.
