Southsloper from Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. I am new to Wikipedia and learning by contributing the odd new article, editting when appropriate, and getting feedback from more experienced contributors.

- International Adoption - China specifically, as we have two adopted daughters - one from Hunan, the other from Jiangxi.
- Computers (started in 1975 in computer process control for 6-7 years, then more "traditional" IT ever since)
- Digital photography (35 mm B&W photography/darkroom work in high school and first year college, then basically dormant until my interest was rekindled in 1999 when I bought a Kodak DC210+ (1-megapixel) from Costco. Unfortunately my old workhorse broke just before Xmas 2004 (unfortunately not discovered until after the New Year). Now I shoot with a Nikon D70, or the wife's much smaller Canon A85.
