Gomishan city

Gomishan (in Persian: گمیشان) is a city in Golestān Province of Iran, near Bandar Torkaman.
The name Gomishan in Persian means "Buffalo place". The local name Gomish-Tappeh is derived from the Turkmen word kumish depheh which means "silver hill" .
