Confined to the plate group, Goa bottomed the table in 2005/06 by not achieving a win in their 5 matches, losing 3 matches. In 2006/07 they again finished bottom of the plate group without a win this time losing 4 matches. The Goa cricket team is based in Goa, India and its home ground is the Dr. Rajendra Prasad Stadium, Margao.
