[edit] Article needs sources for its statements

This article needs sources for its statements. It has only one external link and does not source any statements including ones that claim he has conspired to murder, was a strong ally of the mafia et cetera. Whilst these are surely true statements they must be backed up by other reliable sources. The page for Silvio Berlusconi is a great example of how such an article should/could look. (see; Silvio Berlusconi - References) I hate be the bearer of hypocrisy but I have no time to find the sources myself and was not looking to criticize but to help out what could be a really good article on a very notable figure. High priority in my opinion. - Alexbonaro 13:21, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

Some of the things states in the article are false. He didn't avoid formal conviction due to statutory limitations. He was never convicted of Mafia contacts for the Italian law that require a definitive sentence to say that someone was convicted. After that the article is still confusing, saying that he was left untouched by tangentopoli and then he was involved in Mafia. Tangentopoli was an affair of political corruption. Nothing to do with Mafia. And Andreotti was never convicted about Mafia. The other paragraph is all crazy. Andreotti was acquitted of every thing: Mafia and Pecorella murder. The other are fake things, in contrast with the Italian law and with every law system that states that someone is not guilty until definitively convicted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.49.103.227 (talk) 02:47, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Pecorelli and Dalla Chiesa

"Pecorelli wrote his articles of Andreotti using the help of the general Dalla Chiesa, killed too some months later." That is a disputed statement. A reliable reference is required, otherwise it will be deleted. - Mafia Expert (talk) 12:39, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
