Giovanni Antonio Capelli

Giovanni Antonio Capelli (1664-1741) was an Italian painter of the late-Baroque. He was born at Brescia. He was first instructed by Pompeo Ghiti; he afterwards visited Bologna, where he studied some time under Lorenzo Pasinelli, and finally went to Rome, where worked with Baciccio. He returned to paint in the public edifices at Brescia.
