Gimme Fiction is the fifth album from Austin, Texas indie rock band Spoon, released on May 10, 2005. It debuted at #44 on the Billboard 200. "I Turn My Camera On" has been released as a single, and garnered some radio-play. Some versions of the album also come with a bonus disc. "Sister Jack" was also featured on the Wedding Crashers soundtrack. "I Turn My Camera On" was featured on Bones episode "The Man in the S.U.V".[1] It was also used in The Simpsons episode S19 E18.
The soundtrack of the movie Stranger than Fiction contains versions of songs from Gimme Fiction, including "I Turn My Camera On" and "My Mathematical Mind". "My Mathematical Mind" is also featured in a trailer for the 2008 motion picture 21.
