[edit] Danish monasteries

I see that you have added some articles on Danish monasteries. Keep up the good work - there are many to do! There are presently no guidelines on terminology for monasteries, and certainly not on monasteries in non-English-speaking countries, but I have done a lot of work on this area in the last three years and have arrived at some rules of thumb that seem to work fairly well most of the time, so please ask if in any doubt. Thanks for the questions, which I have done my best to answer here. Please don't hesitate to ask more if anything is unclear. HeartofaDog (talk) 23:01, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Guldholm Abbey

Hi,

I tidied up your new article a bit; I hope what I've done is useful. Any questions, do feel free to ask. Cheers! --  Chzz  ►  05:39, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Børglum Abbey

I have done quite a bit of work on your initial go at this article, mainly because there turned out to be difficulties with some of the articles it linked to, and it was better that they were all made consistent, which involved a lot of re-writing on the abbey article. I have also taken the liberty of adding some images from Commons.

By the way, I hope the notes on monasteries were of some help. When I wrote them I had assumed that you were Danish - but if you are a native English speaker please disregard any linguistic points that would not need to be given to someoone whose first language is English. [edit] Mariager Abbey

Welcome to wikipedia. I removed the references that were on the Mariager Abbey because they were not specific enough to identify any of the sources cited. I wanted to make sure you knew we're thankful for your contribution, but also to ask you to take a look at WP:REF for more detailed style guidelines on how to cite sources. Rather than refering the the whole website da.wikipedia.org as a source, or the entirety of the catholic encyclopedia, a citation should have specific articles, links, or pages. For the meantime, I put {{unreferenced}} back on the article so other editors can see the article needs references and help by providing them. It's usually best not to remove a tag like {{unreferenced}} without adding proper references. Thank you again for your contributions. AubreyEllenShomo (talk) 07:17, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Roskilde Abbey / Priory / Friary etc

Don't worry, no harm done - I've fixed it, at least for now.

Thanks for the additions to the list , and for your articles, which are very useful. I hope you will do more - but do follow up the links in the Welcome section above to see in more detail how formatting, linking and (especially) sourcing are done! I'm always happy to try to answer any questions. Best wishes, HeartofaDog (talk) 14:53, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
