Gili Raanan

Gili Raanan is a successful serial entrepreneur who has founded and led two Gemini portfolio companies in the enterprise software market, which were successfully acquired, respectively, by IBM and EMC.

Gili recently served as VP of Strategy at EMC Corp, for its $700M system management software division. In 2003, Gili founded nLayers Inc, and served as CEO and President till nLayers' 2006 acquisition by EMC Corp. nLayers is the recognized leader in the Configuration Management market. Between the years 1997-2002, Gili founded and served as the General Manager and SVP Products of Sanctum Inc, till its merger with [Watchfire Inc]. The merged company was later acquired by IBM. Prior to that, Gili led several strategic projects at Amdocs Inc.

Gili received his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Economics from Tel Aviv University, with honors, and his MBA from The Recanati Business School, with honors. Gili is responsible for four US patents and one Israeli patent, and others pending.
